The Museum of Art Nouveau is located in the city of Samara on the Volga. It is
located in the former urban estate of the merchant Alexander Kurlin and his
wife Alexandra.
The manor is considered to be the best building in the art nouveau style in Samara, it embodies all the talent and experience of the architect Alexander Zelenko. The Kurlin mansion, built in 1903, became the unique embodiment of Russian modernism, on a par with the Ryabushinsky mansion in Moscow.

The Museum of Art Nouveau opened in December 2012 The main exhibition is located on the first floor of the mansion, where the interiors in Art Nouveau style are recreated.

In the three rooms of the ground floor (boudoir, study, dining room) there are unique things, including those created by the masters of the famous "School of Nancy" - an artistic and creative association that existed in France in the early 20th century. On the second floor and in the basement of the mansion there are temporary imported exhibitions, exhibitions from the own funds.

Once or twice a year, the museum displays the work of contemporary Samara artists. In addition to the main excursion activity, the museum regularly hosts a large number of events for various target audiences.

The museum organizes lectures, concerts, walking and cycling tours in Samara, exhibitions of current artists, festivals. In cooperation with professionals from various fields of culture and art, as well as leading museums of the country and the world, the Museum of Art Nouveau has become an important exhibition venue, and a scientific, educational, creative cultural center.

In the summer, various creative actions under the open sky in the courtyard and in the garden of the museum become a place of special attraction of visitors.

In 2016, the museum opened a new division - a special museum for children «Zelenka», as well as its own coffee & desserts shop.
